AVIS has won the prestigious Superbrands award six times in a row.

The Superbrands award is presented annually by a committee of business, communication, marketing and PR professionals who evaluate brands according to pre-defined criteria such as brand strength, innovation, product quality and brand prestige. In addition to the expert committee, the general public also evaluates individual brands.

The Superbrands programme originated more than twenty years ago in the UK. Marketing and communication experts set themselves two objectives: to put exceptionally strong brands in the spotlight and to present brands worthy of emulation to market participants who would like to develop and learn. Since then, the programme has gained global recognition and today the Superbrands Award is recognised as a special award in 90 countries on five continents. The Brand Council committee has a key role in the award process, which is why only leading, highly respected experts are eligible to become members.
